Whitby Abbey from the Cliffs Yorkshire Landscape Print & Description 1904

Description: Lovely 1904 small print of a painting by Gordon Home entitled "Whitby Abbey from the Cliffs", Yorkshire, with separate detailed description of the scene. The illustration was engraved by the Hentschel Colour-type process. It measures approximately 260mm x 195 mm (10.25" x 7.75"), including borders - actual print size measures approximately 140mm x 100mm (5.5" x 3.75"). Excellent condition for a print that is nearly 120 years old. Will look superb mounted and framed. Please look closely at photographs I have taken for condition and closer view of scene description. The print has been carefully extracted from a dis-bound and no longer usable book. Very little foxing or marking of page, although some ageing and wear is inevitable. There is no print on the reverse side. Please note: this is an original print extracted from a dis-bound book and is not a reproduction.
