VTG MCM Progress Mfg 26” Fluorescent Vanity Fixture Chrome Display 24” Bulb

Description: This listing is for the pictured pair of MCM Progress Mfg Fluorescent cabinet/wall/vanity fixtures. These were removed from our home that was built in 1961. A special collection of items were once displayed in a built-in recessed wall that was removed during renovations-and these lights were saved. There were no shades-covers on these as they were essentially hidden from view and illuminated the display. They were wired together in tandem with a small section of conduit coupling them together. They can easily be mounted the same away again-or used as individual cabinet/vanity lights. The ballasts can be removed from the circuit if LED’s were installed as well. You can see they also have small two-prong outlets on the end of the lamps consistent with many old vanity lighted areas. These are really in nice shape with the insulated lamp sockets being in great shape and there’s no rust on the chromed housings. Photos show the condition accurately. These will polish up beautifully if desired. They worked perfectly when removed and have been in dry storage since. If needed-I will place a bulb in them and wire up a cord of proof of operation is needed. The full housing length with the protruding outlet is just over 26”, they are approximately 3-3/4” proud from the rear backing mount to the top of the light socket and are 3” wide. The mounting process is simple with the backing plate being screwed to the wall and then two screws hood the lamp fixture to the mounted plate. Wiring will be the responsibility of the new owner.
