Description: This is one of my favorite Sun Surf prints! This is an amazingly well done Japanese reproduction of a 40s/50s era Aloha shirt, art by Eugene Savage for Matson Lines. This is a Sun Surf "Special Edition" so even the original (Polynesian Sportswear) tag is reproduced! Great classic Hawaiiana figural print on a Black background, thin comfortable rayon with all the period correct styling, collar shape, top button loop, straight bottom hem, coconut buttons... perfect reproduction of a beautiful shirt! The shirt is pre-owned/used but in GREAT shape overall, NO damage or problems to mention, it's in perfect shape, just not brand new. It was worn a couple times, and the box/tags all saved and saved... it's not quite brand new, but barely used... the tags were reattached. There is NO damage to mention; no holes/tears/stains/discoloration/repairs/etc. Size on Tag : LARGE but fits smaller, much more like a Medium - please check the measurements against a shirt that fits you correctly!
