This necklace dates to the 1920's and was made in the style of the Egyptian Revival. The necklace has not been cleaned or polished. The necklace is quite long and measures approximately 23" long when laid out and 11 1/2" long when doubled over. This extra length allows the necklace to be worn doubled over in multiple styles.
