Description: Vintage 2½ Pound Spiked Fire Axe 23½” Handle INV17047 Here we have a nice fire axe. The head is 8¾” long, has a 3¾” edge and has a 3” spike off the back. Marked Warren, it weighs in just over 3 pounds so I’m thinking the head is probably around 2½. The handle is 23¼”, tight, and appears to be original. The handle has tape near the head so I’m assuming there may be a crack under there but I’m not seeing any evidence. It is in very good condition. Please see the pictures. Please note that most of the items I have for sale are used/vintage goods. You should expect some wear or minor imperfections. I try to describe as best I can but will miss things on occasion.
