Description: Vintage 1940s Black Striped Sleeveless Dress w/ Green & Gold Beaded Neckline. Here we have an authentic 1940s cocktail dress made from a jacquard woven striped black silk. The dress is sleeveless and has a slight v neckline that is ornately beaded with green, gold and clear beads. The dress is knee length and fitted at the waist with and asymmetrical peplum. There is a center back metal zipper that runs from the top to the center back hip. The zipper works well. This piece is in fair condition considering its age, however there are missing and loose beads. This dress is still wearable but should be handled delicately.
