Description: Offered here is a 5 piece set of artifacts recovered from the crash site of a V2 rocket in Peenemunde, Germany. This a a Vengeance Weapon test article from World War II. The artifacts were recovered in 1999 by local enthusiasts just before the site was destroyed by land development. The specimens were acquired by me that year. The set consists of 3 pieces. The largest specimen is an aluminum electrical relay cover with markings. The second piece is a structural aluminum part and the third is a wire tie with a part number and a 8/45 date!!!! The total weight of the set is 39 grams. The largest piece measures 160 mm. The 1944 date is spectacular!!! Comes with signed Letter of Provenance and information card.
