Description: The Dave Pell Octet Plays a Folio of Seldom Heard Tunes By Rodgers & Hart LP is from the closing of a local estate with a collection of over 3000 (mostly jazz) LPs. Other artists in the octet are-Don Fagerquist (trumpet), Ronny Lang (baritone sax & flute), Bill Richmond (drums), Ray Sims (trombone), Tony Rizzi (guitar), Donn Trenner (piano) & Rolly Bundock (bass). The jacket shows age-related shelf wear with taped sections on the upper & lower edges, but the record itself is in very good+ condition. The inner sleeve shows age related discoloration, taped sections & seam splits & someone wrote the number 833 on the lower corner of the sleeve. This release is part of Trend Records Composers Series. The gentleman had his own filing system of his collection & every sleeve and/or box is labeled. You can see that label in the photos that I've uploaded. David Pell: 1925-2017 I am NOT any kind of an expert in grading vinyl LPs but try to visually judge the condition according to the standards that I see other sellers using. I am not a collector or aficionado, I'm merely closing out an estate, so if you have any questions, please feel free to email...and of course, I'm always happy to combine shipping!
