Our Premium Gold carbide impregnated blades feature a polished back and sides, as well as our proprietary carbide impregnation process to give you an extremely fast cutting, long life blade. Hooked blades are most common for long cuts in thicker workpieces. The hooked tooth geometry is aggressive with the hook angled down towards the surface of the workpiece. This helps increase the feed rate through the material, but leaves tearout on the bottom of the workpiece. Width is an important factor when considering a new blade.
