All denominations from the 1 Pound to the 100 Pounds were printed by St. Luke's Printing Works and feature mirror engravings from front to back. The "face" side was printed in English, while the "back" was printed in Dutch. This example has a simply outstanding eye appeal for the type, hence its EPQ status. Issued for only a few years, this rare type is missing from many collections. A terrific example of the design and very pretty. We sold a similar note, a PMG 30 EPQ in 2020 for $4,560, which will render our estimate to be conservative. *PLEASE BE AWARE THESE BANKNOTES ARE REPRODUCTIONS* Reproduction of a High value note. An authentic note that this note replicates sold for thousands GBP and was in way worse condition.
