Description: Up for your consideration i offer this rare ** ERIE ** 1 Imperial quart fruit jar. Very tough to find this jar in clear especially in the Imperial size as they are almost always aqua. Great glass character with an overall whittled appearance. Sparkling clean glass with bold embossing. The ground lip is good as they come. Made at the Erie Glass Works 1893-1898.Base embossed ERIE. It comes with the correct *E* within a hexagon lid, the lid does have a faint trace of stain.No chips & good tight fitting zinc band.No chips or cracks.A nice addition to your collection that will need no improvement.
