Illustrated in the style of Crane and Sowerby. Includes one color plate in the prelims. The rest are lovely black and white illustrations. In the advertisement on the back cover it states, “exact imitations of the originals”. In other words, copyright was not a big deal back then. OCLC Worldcat lists ten copies in institutional holdings. Other editions crediting Sowerby and Crane (among others) are listed in Worldcat. Some faint toning to the back cover. Faint ownership inscription and notation to the top edge of the front cover. Joint rubbed. Very Good condition.
