Description: repro pedals Silver 1" Threaded Fork to 1-1/8" Thread-less Stem Quill Stem Adapter New Silver Alloy Quill Stem Adapter that will let you use a 1" Threaded Fork with a Thread-less 1 1/8" or 28.6mm Stem. This lets you use older style 1" threaded forks that take quill stem with Newer 1 1/8" thread-less Stems. This Stem has a 7/8" or 22.2mm post fitting a fork and silver rounded top nut with that opening. The Sizes are in relation to the the size of the opening of your top nut and fork tube, the stem post diameter will have to slide in to opening snugly. Most Vintage Bikes and New Bikes with 1" threaded Forks use the 7/8" or 22.2mm stem size. There are some French Bikes, Vintage Bikes, and Schwinns this may not work with. On Vintage Schwinn's: the 7/8" also 22.2mm ( Bigger size ) was used from the early 1900's to 1965, The ( smaller size ) 13/16" also 21.1mm was used on Schwinn's from 1966 till the 1980's. The 7/8" or 22.2mm size is more common to most Early Vintage Bikes and New Bikes. Always Measure to Be sure. Adapter Stem weighs approximately 180 grams.
