Description: For sale is a antique Witherby tang firmer chisel, weighing 4.6 oz., with steel measuring 3/4" wide X 5-1/8" long, with a nicely turned 4-7/8" long wooden handle, making up its 10" overall length. Signed "Witherby", the steel is in very good overall condition, with a good edge, with a very slight end edge chip, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The 4-7/8" wooden handle is in good overall condition, showing some use and wear at the top end, as pictured. Any honing, sharpening, cleaning and detailing is left up to you.
