Description: Vintage Harman Kardon HK795i Stereo Receiver Top-of-the-line stereo receiver from H/K 1986 lineup, just serviced and working great. Discrete amplification, excellent phono input, defeatable tone controls, loudness switch, dual tape loops. The only functional issues with this particular unit are the "Tape Out" selector has a few "bad" positions (must be a defective switch I don't have a replacement for) and some of the small buttons are a touch noisy (internal contact oxidation from age). So if you intend to record to your tape deck from various sources a lot, this is not the unit for you. All other functions work properly, including phono and tuner. Beautiful looking unit in H/K trademark Champagne finish. * All leaky and leakage-prone capacitors on all boards, including phono amp, were swapped out with high quality Panasonic FC and Nichicon Fine Gold audio-grade capacitors. * Idle current set to spec. * All controls have been cleaned and treated with De-Oxit. Cosmetically the unit is 8.5/10. No major scratches or dents. Two of the selector knobs were lost and replaced with black knobs from an identical receiver. Comes with original loop antenna. No manual or any other accessories included.
