Description: You are purchasing a new heavy duty universal top switch which can be used with any three wire hydraulic bi-directional convertible top pump that is run on either 6 volts or 12 volts. Switch will shut off automatically when you take your finger off the switch. Switch usually can be mounted in one of the holes under your dash. The power from the battery connects to the middle contact on the switch. The other two wires connect to the two power wires on the pump. 12 volt unit should be wired with 12 gauge wire, 6 volt with 10 gauge wire.
