Description: This listing is for an Original Ford Autolite 4100 C4SF-B 4 barrel that was on a 1966 Mustang GT, but is the wrong carburetor, by the code. The code is for a 1964 1965 Thunderbird. It has a terrible case of the cruds, along with some others I am selling. It has black crud that is ?? overspray ?? or something that comes right off, but it GUARANTEES it will need at least of disassembly and cleaning. Picture 1 shows cleaned areas that I just my fingernail on, and the far side and underside look good. Primary and secondary both open and close fine, and adjustment screws work fine. It is in good shape, everything opens and closes, screws turn correctly, however I am NOT a carburetor guru. It will need a rebuild. I do not check or even know which boosters are supposed to be in the carb, and all the little linkages, choke housing, etc. that may not be correct as Ford made a lot of running changes. However, I have no idea how long it has been off a car, so I am selling it used, needs a kit.
