Description: From an estate with much Creek Indian material, a lot of five Native American photos: Tomo Chachi Mico, William McIntosh, Yoholo Micco, his son Mistippee, and Tustenuggee. The last four were all involved with the conflicts within the Creek people in the early 1800s. These were mailed from the photographer and photographic curator at the Smithsonian Institution, A J Olmsted, to the recipient in the 1930s. These are evidently photos of paintings or illustrations in books. The 3 smaller photos are 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" and the largest two are 8" x 10". Very Good shape as shown. They have been stored in the envelope for decades. A great addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your items safely packed for protection.
