Description: This gorgeous vintage Parker Vacumatic pencil, I believe was made as a match to the early Parker Major pens (1930s). Has the unique black, pearl striated design that is both stylish and functional. Made of high-quality celluloid material, this pencil is built to last and is a great addition to any collection. It is in working condition and new lead installed. No Eraser. Pencil is 5" long.(not 5-1/8" like similar sized maxima edition) & a Bulky O/S barrel (larger than Maximas and very close to Debutantes in width). It has a striped jewel end cap and wide cap band. Short nose cone. Pen is marked - "Geo. S. Parker, Parker, USA" Date Code 37Operation: Functional, lead repels and retracts as intended. I have new 1.18 mm lead installed. Surface Condition: Some light scratches on nose cone & clip. Pencil barrel looks vibrant. Imprint is visible - see pics. An excerpt from the Pen Addict describes the Parker Pencil -"The alternation of solid and transparent bands of celluloid still turns heads today. The striking, arrow-shaped clip is a design element that Parker still uses on their pens today. The total package is an Art Deco masterpiece." Shipping:I will combine shipping. If you are bidding on multiple auctions, please do not send payment and send me a message when you are done bidding so I can send you an updated invoice with the revised shipping costs.
