Darling Hertel Schwab 151 German, antique bisque 10" jointed character baby doll

Description: Absolutely darling, 9 1/2 - 10" long, antique bisque sockethead, 151 character baby doll by Hertel Schwab of Germany, circa 1910. He is completely original with his high quality, jointed composition bent limb, baby body with original paint finish and excellent finger and toe details. He has beautifully molded and painted, wispy blond hair, brown multi-stroke eyebrows, finely painted upper and lower eyelashes and gorgeous antique, blue glass sleeping eyes as well as an open mouth with outlined lips, molded tongue and two upper baby teeth and perfect cheek blush. He is incised: 0 over 151 and wears his original charming, blue checked cotton, antique romper with long sleeves, collar and self belt with button closures along with cotton socks and replaced leatherette shoes with ties. He can be positioned easily and is looking for his forever home. Other items shown are not included and listed separately. He is in excellent condition with no hairlines, no chips or nicks, no repairs, no stains or fading, no repaint and no odors as he is from a smoke free home.
