The AD-738 is one of Casio's sports models originally released in the mid 1990's. This particular model integrates a small digital display used to show the current time, day/date, current temperature reading, and also used to set the alarm function. In addition to showing the temperature readout on the digital display (while the analog display is used to show current time), the watch also has a dedicated mode whereby the analog minute hand is used to display the temperature on the radial graph printed on the dial. The diver style bezel also rotates counterclockwise with 60 clicks per rotation. Condition:This watch is in very nice pre-owned condition and fully functional. The temperature sensor is fully operational and working without issue. The stainless steel case and composite bezel of this watch shows some light scuffs throughout as can be seen in the images. The crystal is clear with no noticeable marks. As well, a few light scuffs on the caseback. The few scuffs and bumps ultimately fade away once on the wrist and don't otherwise take away from the beautiful appearance of this ultra rare piece. Service:I've just installed the watch on a new nylon adjustable strap. As well, I've installed a fresh high-quality battery into the watch. Lastly, I have applied a light coating of silicone grease to the case gaskets to promote water resistance and prevent the gaskets from getting dry or brittle. With that said, I've examined this watch thoroughly, as well as tested the accuracy and functionality with no issues to report. This watch is ready to be worn and enjoyed for years to come! Features and further details Diameter: 40mm without pushers or crown. Quartz module is running well and keeping accurate time. Temperature sensors is tested and operational. All pushers work accordingly and are not sticky. LCD is clear without leakage. Piezoelectric alarm/beep function is working. Case seals are intact and look in excellent condition, a light coating of silicone grease was applied to prevent drying out and promote water resistance.
