Description: c.1927 Shorty Sez National Safety Council Small Format Poster Set of 5 Vintage Date: c.1927 Artist: Moses, Ralph Size (in): 12” x 9” Size (cm): 30.5 x 22.9 Condition: A- Linen backed: No This is a lot of five vintage original small format safety posters created by the artist Ralph Moses and issued by the National Safety Council in the late 1920s. These posters are from the “Shorty Sez” series and feature the advertising character “Shorty” giving reminders about the importance of safety in various situations. These small format posters measure about 12” x 9” with very slight variations in size and all are printed one side only with the National Safety Council logo appearing at the bottom. These posters are also printed “General Series” with a different number given for each including 1928, 2020, 2205, 2173 and 2192. These vintage original mini posters are unused and free of tape or pinholes. The posters show light handling wear and are in very good condition overall.
