Description: With the REF80S, Audio Research continues their legacy of building some of the best sounding tube amplifiers available today. The new chassis not only adds some great feaures like full auto-bias for long tube life and plug-and-play operation, but looks super cool with the new ghost meters. This just came in on trade from the oringal owner and is in absolutely like new condition. While he has a lot of different amplifiers he never puts a lot of time on any of them. In the time he owned this one its accumulated 458 hours on it. The tubes are just broken in and sounding absolutely amazing. Note: The top cover has a front grill behind the glass meters that can be removed to view the tubes. We usually remove it but it was in place for the pictures. It just looks a lot nicer when removed.
