Description: Description This amazing window is almost entirely painted kiln fired stained glass with ruby red flash glass borders. The central panel of ruby flash glass has an etched scene of chicks in a nest. The original frame is painted on both sides. Its original location is unknown but it has lived at the former Phillips crab house in OCMD for the last 70 years. The window dates to the 1870's.Measurements are 34 inches wide by 51 tall and 1.75 thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Several of the painted kiln fired pieces are broken. We have a very talented stained glass artist that can replicate and replace them, this is included in the price. Several hairlines will remain and the central panel has a couple cracks but no loss. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 112205 Shipping. We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes. Payment Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance. Terms of Sale I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
