Description: For your consideration is a 19th century Maine inlaid document or jewelry box. It measures 11.25" by 8" by 4". Mahogany and maple veneers over pine carcass. Lock is present but no key. Overall very good condition with a couple small veneer nicks to mahogany on rear outside edge of top on right corner (see photo). Original colored paper interior with mirror as shown. Many people refer to these as Maine Shaker origin.
