Description: Actor Walter Riemer's theatrical make-up case; Used during national tour of "Porgy & Bess" Company in the 1950's. The case is in good condition considering its use; See photos. There are some scratches and wear, but otherwise an incredible piece of theatrical memorabilia that could actually still be used. Opens with numerous compartments. Includes Riemer's luggage tag with address of Hudson Theatre. Riemer's Broadway credits (dates in which he was in run) included the short-lived "Laura" (June 26, 1947-Aug. 2,1947); "Porgy and Bess" (March 10, 1953-Nov. 28, 1953); and "Auntie Mame" (Oct. 31, 1956-June 28, 1958). And besides, the "Porgy and Bess" tour, also toured in "Auntie Mame" in 1958. Bio information about Riemer and a couple of programs are included with case. 18 inches long, 7 inches deep and 12 inches high. Key included.
