Description: 19th Century Tongzhi Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Scalloped Bowl ~ Rooster This 8-lobe round/ scalloped bowl measures 6" in diameter by1 3/4" deep. The piece has a celadon interior with polychrome floral and rooster design on the outside. The prominent foot has a burgundy design of two lines above and below with a design of two opposing waves that come together in the center. It is in wonderful condition for its' age with no cracks, crazing or restoration only having one small chip to the rim and a couple of fine hairlines to the exterior by the rim as pictured. A very striking Chinese piece that is handmade, hand painted having vibrant color.
