1990 Cadillac Brougham Base

Description: Selling my 1990 Cadillac Brougham with the 5.7-liter V8. It currently has about 111,000 miles on it. I've owned the car since 2012. It's been a great car over the years, and I'm sad and reluctant to let it go. But life goes on, and it's time to rehome the old girl. Pros:Interior is in excellent condition overall. Carpet, headliner, and upholstery are all like new. The dash isn't cracked and it's never been cut up for speakers, aftermarket audio, etc. Headliner was done in 2012 and still looks great.AC and heat work great.Tires are nearly new, installed in spring of 2023. Only about 3,000 or 4,000 miles at most on them.New radiator, hoses, and thermostat installed in the summer of 2023.Engine is very smooth, car idles and accelerates extremely well. A strong runner. Has enjoyed semi-synthetic oil changes every 4,000 miles or so.Transmission still shifts well through all gears.Most power features still work, including all power windows, the power trunk pull-down, sentinel lights, interior lights, etc.I have all service records dating back to 2012, which will be included with the car. Also included with sale: service manual, owner's manual, an indoor car cover, and several misc. parts I've collected over the years, all of which can be seen in the photo of the trunk.Very little rust for a lifelong New England car. The body has two small rust spots (see the two photos attached), while the chassis is pretty clean aside from some minimal surface rust (see very last photo). Cons:Rear filler panels are cracking. Look okay right now but will need to be replaced.Vinyl top is starting to go, but like the fillers, it looks okay from a distance.Rear end is making a slight whining noise. Can't know the extent of the issue until the differential taken apart. I've largely refrained from driving the car since the noise began.Power antenna and alarm don't work, and one directional power seat adjustment is also inoperable.The leather on the steering wheel is shot, and there's an old velcro tab stuck on the driver's sun visor, presumably where a prior owner kept their garage door opener. These are the only real noticeable flaws in the interior.Mileage Discrepancy: Odometer shows incorrect mileage of 151xxx, which is about 41xxx higher than actual mileage. Digital dash was replaced with a used unit from higher-mileage Brougham right before I bought the car. Because mileage is stored directly in the odometer vs. the car's ECU, the display couldn't be updated. Note that title is branded as a mileage discrepancy, but I do have the paperwork to verify the dash repair and the real mileage. Overall, this is a solid Brougham with the highly desirable 5.7 V8 that just needs a few things to be a reliable, fun driver.
