It looks like something you'd find in Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware. It is surprisingly light when empty, and accommodates most average-sized tapers, battery-operated or wick votives, small bottles, glassware, or similarly sized objects. You can even flip it upside down so the criss-cross bases serve as flower frogs. The height of anything added is up to you (and common sense). The heavier the decoration, the taller it can be. The condition is clean, solid, and aged to perfection. One chain is missing a link and the remaining links were reattached without it, but this doesn't affect the function or stability in any way. Adding another wire link is an easy fix if that's the sort of thing that bugs you, but I think it adds to the look. Research did not find any others like it available now or sold recently so if you like unusual, useful things, this is for you.
